NextGen Creators

“The NextGen Creators” competition is designed for students aged 13-15. Participants will create and build bridge models based on technical specifications. This will allow students to apply their engineering knowledge in real-world scenarios and demonstrate problem-solving skills.

Age Limit: 13-15 (those who turn 13 by December 1, 2025, and will not turn 16 by November 1, 2025)

Developed skills

Students become familiar with the working principles of 3D printers and learn to identify optimal print parameters. They explore how nozzle temperature, layer thickness, and print speed affect output quality. They identify technical problems and implement effective solutions. Their skills in using 3D modeling software improve, along with spatial reasoning, measurement precision, and symmetric design abilities. While planning prototypes, they understand concepts such as tolerance and assembly sequence. They learn to strike a balance between aesthetic and functional design. They analyze structural stress points and enhance weak areas. Through simulations, they examine load distribution and design scenarios. They also compare digital and physical test results, recording their findings in an engineering notebook.
