About Us

With the support of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the International Green STEAM Azerbaijan Festival will be held on October 24-25 at the Baku Expo Center, organized by the STEAM Azerbaijan project.

The purpose of the festival is to promote STEAM-based education, develop 21st-century skills among learners, identify creative students, and, in connection with the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change being held in Azerbaijan, as well as the declaration of 2024 as the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World” in the country, encourage the application of STEAM-based approaches for environmental sustainability, efficient use of water resources, and innovative solutions for alternative energy sources.

It should be noted that the STEAM Azerbaijan Festival was first organized on December 9-10, 2021.

The STEAM education method integrates five main disciplines: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. It is based on the idea of teaching these disciplines in an interconnected and comprehensive manner.

During the festival, students from all general, vocational, secondary specialized, and higher education institutions in the country have the right to participate in various categories in teams. Once the registration date for the festival is announced, teams can review the competition rules for the relevant categories and complete the registration form on the festival’s official website for their desired category.
